Purchase Tickets Benefitting Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito The Quack is Back! Bring your family and friends to join the Rotary Club of Del Mar for Chili & Quackers at Powerhouse Park in Del Mar for a fun-filled afternoon at the beach! Event entry is FREE. Activities include: 2:30 pm-Quackers Challenge Race: All numbered rubber duckies “adopted” by 2:00 pm will be released by Del Mar Lifeguards to just beyond the breaking waves where the tide will bring them racing to shore. The first 10 ducks to reach shore will win thousands of dollars in prizes for their “adopters.” (Prizes will include these or similar: GoPro drone, Xbox, 50" tv, Pizza Nova gift certificate, Garmin vivoactive HR, Echo dot and more). Winners will be announced at 3:30 pm and need not be present to win. Duck Adoptions can be purchased on-line (click on TICKETS) or at the event. Adopters will be notified by email with their duck ID number(s). Noon to 3:30 pm-Chili Cook-Off: Individual contestants will showcase their prized chili recipes which attendees can taste in sample sizes.
