Race Day: Saturday, November 2, 2013 12:00 noon Course: 5K, 3.2 miles, on the beach, starting and finishing at Jake’s. Teacher/Parent Conferences for Carmel Valley Montessori School – November 4th-8th – These are individual conferences with your child’s teacher and parents.  It is very important for both parents to attend this meeting so everyone can be on the same page.  Since the staff is working with the children in the morning the conference times will mostly be in the afternoons.  There will be a sign up sheet for conferences on the front desk as it gets closer to this event. All clubs, programs, Montessori School and camps will be closed November 11th in honor of Veteran's Day.

Thanksgiving Celebration and early release at the Carmel Valley Montessori School – November 27th – All parents, siblings and grandparents are all invited to this event.  We will have a Thanksgiving luncheon with all of the children and families.  We will begin at 11:00 am and all children will be released to go home by 12:30pm. Register for Parent's Night Out - December 13th

Join us for a ridiculously fun event where grown adults dress up in Santa and Mrs. Claus outfits, gather at a designated establishment at 2 pm,  and walk to a different establishment every hour spreading holiday cheer wherever we go. All proceeds will benefit The Boys and Girls Club of San Dieguito in Encinitas. Organizers of this event gain nothing from it but warm fuzzies and a reason to go out in public dressed as Santa! December 14, 2013: The fun begins at 2:00 pm, crawling every hour on the hour until 7:00 pm, through five, fine downtown Encinitas establishments! Cost: A $30 per person advance donation to The Boys and Girls Club of San Dieguito reserves your spot on the Santa Cause crawl. Carmel Valley Montessori School Winter Holiday Program – December 20th – All families are invited to watch our children perform in the Holiday show.  We may also have a special visitor from the North Pole!  More information will be provided as it gets closer to the event.  Toddlers will begin at 10:30, preschool classes will begin at 11:00.
