Do you have what it takes to become a dynamic leader

and change not only yourself but the world?

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where you develop your skills as a leader while having fun and making connections.

“I still remember my RYLA camp experience from 1985. It was so much fun to meet teens from other schools and join together for team building games, skits and workshops. Such a great experience!” – Shelly Kelly, BGC San Dieguito Grant Writer
“I remember RYLA camp with such fondness. The epic lip sync battles, the enthusiastic and inspiring leaders, I made friends that I still have today and learned leadership skills that still serve me well” – Jessica Ellis, CHL Director

High school juniors are invited to contact the Boys & Girls Clubs or Rotary Clubs to attend this year’s RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) program occurring April 7-9.  Facilitators bring much needed experience and insight to an exciting weekend with top high school juniors from throughout the District.  This is a student’s opportunity to be part of a proven program that has changed hundreds of lives.  RYLA shows young men and women that there are adults who are genuinely invested in their futures, and teaches key leadership concepts with business leaders from around the area.  Students have a fun camp experience in nearby Idyllwild, while journeying through various leadership-building activities.  Fun, laughter and enrichment are guaranteed!

Best of all – there is no cost to you or your club to participate!  Simply go to www.ryla5340.org, click on the RYLA link and follow the instructions.  Students will be on your way to possibly the most rewarding experience.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact your nearest Clubhouse of Boys & Girls Club of San Dieguito or Rotary Club.
