#1: Big 8 Running Camp location for the second week (July 10 – July 14) is Oak Crest Middle School, not Ocean Knoll Middle School (found on page 26).

#2: Camp & Swim dates listed in the print guide are off by one day (except for the last session) (found on page 19). Correct dates are as follows:

Session 1: June 19 – June 30
Session 2: July 3 – July 15

Session 3: July 17 – July 28
Session 4: July 31 – August 11

Session 5: Aug. 14 – Aug. 24

New this year! Campers must bring a sack lunch from home each day. Please follow the lunch guidelines listed on page 7 of our Camps Guide.

School’s out, Clubs are in!

Our Summer Adventure Camps program allows campers ages 5-15 to experience a fun filled, active summer in a safe environment with skilled staff to ensure a rewarding summer camp experience. We offer flexible and affordable camp options: Summer Adventure Day Camps and/or the Summer Specialty Adventure Camps. Join us and play awesome games, make memories with new friends, and have have a blast on field trips! Each camp day Campers will participate in a variety of fun and engaging activities from our 4 core areas Arts & Crafts, Sports, Games, and Computers.

OUR STAFF

Our staff is here to ensure your camper is having the ultimate summer camp experience and to help create memories that will last a lifetime. Our staff is CPR and first-aid certified, as well as drug-tested and background-checked. Each staff member is selected for his/her experience, expertise, and enthusiasm. These individuals are excited about the opportunity to teach our campers how to succeed in their activities.

FLEXIBILITY

Our programs are designed to allow maximum flexibility affording you the opportunity to tailor a camp schedule to specifically meet your family’s needs. Within each program, we have created a daily schedule allowing campers to participate in optional activities creating a fully customizable fun and rewarding summer. Parents who need assistance in planning a schedule are welcome to contact our Camps Coordinator.

TYPES OF CAMPS OFFERED

Our Adventure Day Camps serve campers of all abilities, ages 5-13, with small group instruction in 6 core areas: The Arts, Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, Sports, Fitness & Recreation, and Technology.

Campers are given the opportunity to progress at their own rate and develop long-lasting friendships that grow through participation. Campers also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of field trips to local San Diego locations. Campers are divided into groups by age.

Our Specialty Adventure Camps offer over 100 specialized camp options over 10 weeks of summer. All of our Specialty Camps are designed to give campers the opportunity to learn about or develop skills in a specific area. These are a wonderful way to expose your child to a new activity for the first time, or allow a camper with a particular interest or talent to further develop their ability in a summer camp setting. Specialty camps are seasonal, please contact camp office for more information.

We have camps options for everyone:

  • Junior Camps for ages 5-7
  • Junior Sports and Adventure Sports for ages 5-13
  • Adventure Specialty Camps ages 8-12
  • Adventure Teen Camps ages 12-14
  • LIT (Leader In Training) Program ages 14-15

HOW TO REGISTER

REGISTRATION

Registration is 100% online for Summer Adventure Camps. With our registration program you can also access your campers information, make any necessary changes to your campers profile, add camps, and view or print statements when needed. *Camp fees must be paid at time of registration in order to secure your spot in a particular camp.

AFTER YOU ENROLL

After enrollment for any Adventure Camp you will receive our “Parent Information Packet” with everything you need to know. The camp package includes all camp activities at the camp site, a camp t-shirt, and Basic Field Trips. All other activities may be added a la carte. Please see page 8 of the summer brochure for more details.

Summer Sleepover

Sleep over at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito Polster Clubhouse!

Here is your chance to stay after hours with all of your friends! Campers will have a blast playing games like flashlight tag, swimming at the local pool, watching movies, and creating fun art projects. This will be a night to remember! Campers attending the Summer Sleepover will be brought to the Polster Club after 3:30pm on Friday, July 21, 2017. Campers need to be picked up at the Polster Club on Saturday morning by 9am. Dinner, snacks, and breakfast are included. Additional sleepover information will be provided upon registration.

When: Friday, July 21 from 3:30pm to 9am

Cost: Ages 5-13: $60 per camper
Ages 14-15 (L.I.T.): $30 per camper


End of Summer Family Fun Night

To close out the summer camp season, ALL campers are invited to bring their friends and family for an evening of festivities and fun compliments of Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito. Food, bounce houses, face painting, games, SWAG Bags, and FUN! Please contact our Camp Office for more information. *SWAG Bags, prizes and complimentary concessions are offered on a first come first served basis.
