Mark J. Lee currently serves as a senior vice president and corporatebanking manager for the Carmel Valley office of California Bank& Trust (CB&T) based in San Diego.

Lee has been a commercial banker in San Diego since 1984 and has a broad range of experience with middle market companies in variousindustries including technology, biotech, manufacturing, wholesale and retail.

Lee has been with CB&T since 1996 and has been responsible for managing the corporate bankinggroup since 1999.  Additionally, Lee is responsible for managing his clients’ financial needsand making recommendations regarding balance sheet structure, debt financing and cashmanagement solutions.

Prior to joining CB&T, Lee held similar positions at both San Diego Trust and Savings Bank and Union Bank.

Lee is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington and holds a B.S. degree in finance from San Diego State University.  Lee is involved in several non-profit organizations including the Boys & Girls Club of San Dieguito, where he is a board member.  Lee is a member, and past chairman, of the San Diego MIT Enterprise Forum and is the current president of Bankers Small Business CDC.  Lee is also a founding member, past chairman and current board member of the Phase I, II & III EmTek Seed Capital Funds (now SDTF), revolving equity loan funds serving the San Diego entrepreneurial community. Lee has resided in the San Diego community since 1977 with his wife Laurel.
